Calibration Machine

Calibration Machine

A Stone Calibration Machine is an industrial machine used in stone processing factories to level and standardize the thickness of stone slabs such as granite, marble, quartz, or semi-precious stone before polishing.

A calibration machine grinds the bottom surface of a stone slab using rotating diamond milling heads. It removes uneven surfaces and brings the entire slab to a predetermined, consistent thickness.

It’s typically used as the first step in a stone finishing line — especially for flooring tiles, slabs, and countertops — to ensure uniform thickness across all pieces for aesthetic and functional consistency.

  • Heavy-duty rotating head fitted with diamond tools or metal-bond abrasive plates.
  • Thickness measuring sensor allows automatically adjusts the height of the head to match desired thickness.
  • PLC control system allows for setting exact thickness, feed rate and calibration speed.
  • Water cooling system prevents overheating and reduce dust during grinding.
  • Machine offers 4 roller calibrating head for material eating and 2 disc type head for fine calibration ensure flat and uniform thickness across slab with accuracy of ±0.2 mm.
